Precise Engineering offers two innovative types of Low-Cost-Country (LCC) Dies based on degree of difficulty and the delivery requirements of our customers.
- Global Dies: Die designs are done in-house by our experienced U.S. engineers according to Precise Engineering Global Die Standards and then the components are built offshore. Final assembly/tryout at our U.S. plant guarantees fast, smooth startups. This method results in 80% LLC-content and a savings to our customers of up to 15%.
- Imported Dies: For lower-risk dies with adequate lead time, our project managers coordinate the design/build totally offshore according to Precise Engineering Global Die Standards. Completed dies are shipped to our U.S. plant for final tryout/validation for a savings to our customers of up to 25%.
All LCC Dies are built to Precise Engineering International Die Standards using professional Project Managers in China and Korea to meet delivery dates and exact specifications. Final adjustments and tryout are completed at our facility in Michigan. Startup at the customer’s plant and production services can also be provided.
